New Year's Resolutions (A day in advance)h

So it's been over a month (possibly two in fact) where I actually did a post. There are loads of little reasons for it, things like COD 4 MW2 (I addicted to that crap like Crack), not having access to a computer and Christmas (shopping and wrapping takes a lot out of ya).
But the main reason, the number one suspect in why I've not posted recently. The deadly sin which stops me dead in my tracks:

LAZINESS

It's affected a lot of what of what I do. Be it blogging to actually going to the gym (yeah I did managed to start, but as you can probably tell I haven't been in about two months).
Now, I could easily blame it on the fact that it is dark and cold because it is winter, however deep down I know it's just because I'm lazy.
But NO MORE. Well at least for 2010 =0)
My resolutions are simple.
  • Post at least once a week.
  • Go to the gym twice a week.
  • Post off my UCAS form for Uni.
  • Save up to go to Japan.
Now I should be able to do all of these things if I just stop being Lazy. Which I shouldn't find too difficult (I think) but I could really do with some help. So if My Fragile Mind starts to become stagnant, drop me an e-mail, post me a comment or even message me over Xbox Live. Life (and everything in general) is easier with a little bit of help. And finally just to finish my last post off for this Year (and the Decade)

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Oh and a Belated MERRY CHRISTMAS

And I felt I should share it

I just can't describe what I feel about this at the moment. Maybe in a later post

Really. Europe is getting an Exclusive?

Yeah you did read right. But what is going to be so Exclusive?
Is it maybe Lucky Charms Delux. With extra sugar and E numbers then what you poke a stick at? Sadly no.
Maybe there will a special Koob Day, exclusive to the U.K. Again no. But that would be such an awesome idea. You could have floats that look like me. And in the parade (cause there will have to be a parade) there would be portable karaoke machines.
Errr.... where was I? Oh yeah the Exclusive to Europe.
Well I'll give some clues to what it could be.
It is video game related.
It's about colour.
When you say it's name you sometimes giggle (well I still do).
And sometime when you play with it's controller it feels like you have a very kinky sex toy in your hands.

Yes you guessed it. The Wii is getting a little makeover with the Black Edition.

Mmmm. Well that's it. It does look nice. But I got one already. And can't be arsed to replace it. It's not like I play it much any way.
But I guess there will be a load of people that will do so.

So...the Nobel Peace Prize

Yeah I know it's a bit late to really make too much of a comment on this but here's a quick thought on it.

In my eyes Barack Obama getting the Nobel Peace Prize is like me getting the Galaxy British Book Award. You know, for that book, the one that I keep saying that I'm going to write but just haven't got round to finishing yet.
I'm not saying that he won't deserve it. Just not yet. And before anyone tries and say it's because he has managed to get peace talks going then poppy cock. The nominees for the Noble Peace Prize are chosen in February. He was only in office for...what...a month, possibly two.
I don't see any justification for this. And if any one can, then please feel free to explain it to me.

MM. How music can reflect how you feel

Probably best to play the song first before going into this one.

I think Robyn smacks the nail on the head with this song. That little (or big) crush that you have that is currently seeing someone else. It just never feels that it will ever be doesn't it.
Oh well can't dwell on it can we? The Answer to that is no by the way.

P.s What is up with the little black dude in the video? Is she like babysitting him or something?

GF. Dribble

The just one of the remixes that I've found. But some others that I have seen are:
  • Herbie Hancock vs N.E.R.D
  • Kid Cudi vs Black Eyed Peas
  • Jackson 5 vs. Gang Starr
  • Gwen Stefani vs Rick James
  • Marvin Gaye vs Gorillaz
  • Dizzee Rascal vs Justice

Now these are just some of the tracks that I have seen. But it does look like they are using the sames songs from each artist. For example the Black Eye Peas song is Boom Boom Pow in both the trailer you've just seen and in the Remix with Kid Cudi (his song is Day n' Night btw).
Not that that is a bad thing.
I can see this being a brilliant party game. I kinda hope that there is a mode that if you flop the music will carry on and not ruin a good mood.
Another game mode that I have found is the following:

I think I better go and clean up that dribble puddle that has just formed.

MM. Guilty Pleasures

We all have them. Those songs of which you can't say why you like it because there is no reason for you to like it. Those guilty pleasures. Those songs that if anyone else heard them you would become the laughing stock of the very town (or city) that you live in.
It's lucky in a way then that I don't really care what anyone thinks of me really.
This Monday's song is Untouched by The Veronicas. I don't even know why they are called The Veronicas. It's the actual bands name and no one on the band is call Veronica.
I heard this song at work and instantly became hooked. I just can't get this song out of my head. To the point that I was even singing along to it when it came onto my Ipod and not realizing it. Not that I care. It's always good to share out the Koobiness.

I have to say I didn't even know that they looked that hot. I only actually ever heard them until today and was taken aback. And they are twins to. Only one thing can be said about that "High Five".
I love how at the end of the video it so obvious what the guy was talking about. What an idiot. You wait till she totally sloshed before you drop a line like that. I joke, I joke. You wait till they are BOTH sloshed before dropping that line *Thumbs up*

GF. No more. Please No More

I've just taken a peak at the release list of video games for Q4 this year.
I think that My Social Aids may be trying to fight my immune system and make me a total hermit.
Just in case you don't know what is coming out here's a quick list.

23 Oct Ghostbusters (360, DS, Wii[Why waste time and money with the Wii Version?])

( Do you think they ever pull those proton packs out as a party trick?)
I've been waiting too long for this to be released. Why so long? Do I really care? No. I just want the 23rd of October and hurry up and get here already.

27 Oct DJ Hero (360, PS2 [Again why? Surely it's died already.], PS3, Wii)
I was starting to get a little bit bored of the music game scene and then I find this video clip on the net.

Did you hear that sick remix, did you see the list of daft punk remixes alone. All in all I heard that 100 songs have been put together so far. And that's not taking into account DLC. Damn, I'm all over this game like a big Polish Rash.

10 Nov Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (360, PS3)
Addiction doesn't beginning to describe what I have for the original Modern Warfare multiplayer.

From the look of the video a lot of requests have been fulfilled from new mulitplayer games to host migration. Plus don't you just love the noise that guys makes when he gets hit in the head? Play it again from 1.49 to see what I mean.

13 Nov Left for Dead 2 (360, PS3)
I've only really got into the first one but you can never have to many zombie games.

(Don't it look like his swearing at us?)

20 Nov Assassin's Creed 2 (360, PS3)
I'm beginning to see a pattern here.

(Mmmm. Double blade goodness)
Anyone who play thought Desmond Miles memories, would want to know what is going to happen to him and his ancestors. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not as psych about this as I was for the first but I need to know what happens.

27 Nov The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS)
( I Choo Choo Choose you)
It's Zelda. 'Nought said really.

27 Nov Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (DS)

(Luigi only just noticed what was next on the menu)
I've always like how the Mario & Luigi games play with it's mix of Button bashing and RPG.

So it looks like I'm going to need to start doing a short list of games I really want and put the rest on my Xmas wish list. Oh shit I only just realized. There are only 3 more Months till Xmas. That means 3 more pay days. Damn I'm going to need to start saving now.

P.S It was only after I wrote up this post that I noticed how many sequels are being released. Oh well, it's luck that I like Re-Hash Browns.

Sunday 16 August 2009

So, why so little?

You would think that saying I've had far more time on my hands then I used to, I would have done more posts. Well as you can see, that assumption is wrong in the fullest. But the thing is, I want to know why? Yes I as in me.
So I looked at when the post went funny. It happened when I transferred to the store closer to home and that didn't have the stupid opening times. But then it clicked. The change of store was only but one Domino in the effect of me posting less.
Now as we all now by changing stores I ended up having more free time to do what I please.
One the things I have chosen to do is hang out with my friends and socialize more. Now I'm not saying that just because I'm meeting more people mean I'm going to post less, but it again is another domino piece ready to tumble.
But the thing is, that my friends have ended up being another vent that I can use for my Koobiness. So where I used to use my blog to let all the things in my head out, there isn't as much as there was before. But that just means that I got to just improve my memory. That way I can repeat what I said on here.
Things that have happened over the last weekend? Well yesterday I was at the Free Running Championships. Good Times!!!
It was broadcasted Live on BBC 3 and can also be seen on the BBC iPlayer here.
It's an hour long so if you want to see the high lights go to 14.55. And ignore what the commentators say. It popped out. And it was his knee.
And also the winners preformance at 36.10. All I can say is Tim "Livewire" Shieff rocks.
I let you make your own thoughts about the event.

MM. 30 Seconds to Mars - A Beautiful Lie

While most people would just be lazy and put up the The Kill or From Yesterday (both of which are great songs, just slightly overplayed), I decided to see if I could find another video that's been released. It wasn't as hard as I thought because the first one I looked for was the also the easiest to find.

I really like the the edits of this video. The slow downs of the cymbals being hit, the guitarist spinning, the flying overview and on top of that, a really engrossing song. It all seems to suck you in.

What's going on?

I've found that I've been asking myself this question quite often. I was hoping that by having more time due to my job change, I would be able to do more post. Where in fact it's turned out that I done less. So less that I'm sure it's been a month since my last post.
I feel so ashamed of myself. I should at least throw in the odd ramdom post here and there. But it just seems that my mind is as tiny as it used to be and due to that I have no need to unload it as often. I will start doing more posts. But I need to finish this god damn Monologue. Yes another one is in the pipe line. I just not fully happy with the current state that this one is.
For the mean time feel free to marvel at the following picture of me doing what I enjoy most

MM. Carry On My Wayward Son

Ever since I've played Guitar Hero, there has always been one song that stood out for me. I never heard it before I played it, but regardless I played it good. We're talking about 5 star good without trying. That song was Carry on my Wayward Son by Kansas.
Now most people would be like who, what, huh? But it's more then likely that you have heard the song. I know that it was used in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
But the main place that I sure that you may of heard the song is Supernatural. I'm a massive fan of the show and just saw the end of season 4. I'm not going to ruin for people that haven't seen it yet, but I kinda saw it coming. But I was a little pissed at how they just left it hanging.
Back to the song. It has been always be used as the background song to the final episode run down, also known as the "The Road So Far", of all the events so far in any season. It's also very fitting for the show not only due to the words, but the also for the bands name is Kansas. It's where the Winchesters are from.
Without further ado. Here's the song. I also felt that saying how Supernatural has such a strong link to the song now, I felt that it appropriate that it would be a Supernatural video montage.

I really can't get enough of Supernatural. Most of the girls they chose to cast are some right hotties. Like Ruby in season 3. Damn. I'm not normally a blonde kinda guy. But in this case I would make an exception.

Do you dance?

I guess the question should be made a bit more clearer. I mean when you hear some song do you have an urge to just pop your body to it? To let your energy flow? To put the music into motion?
I have a bad habit when I'm at work and there is nothing to do of dancing to the store music. It will start with an innocent swaying, back and forth. Then turn into a shuffle of the feet. Followed by some elaborate hand motions. Luckily I regain control of my body and senses and stop myself before I turn the shop floor into a dance floor and scare away any customers that come in.
Today the same thing happened. But after wards someone said I was so strange. I'm not strange just different.
But then I started thinking have there been any other times when people have just started randomly dancing? I started looking and guess what. There are.

I love how this guy has been practicing on this dance. Kudos to him for doing it in public.

What do you do when you don't have the video game? Dance to the music of course. We've had the migraine skank and the swine flu skank. Now it's time for the Song of Storms skank.
One quick thing. Watch the video again. But keep your eyes on the guy in the back. Dude is trying to some some pole dancing moves.

Maybe I'm not so strange. Sading I do work for T-Mobile it does seem fitting that I also want to dance once in a while. It's not like they're setting a very good example for me now does it?

MW. Drag to me Hell

Ok I need to do a couple of checks before I talk about this.
  1. Do you like horror movies? You do great.
  2. Are you slightly squeamish? Like would get a heart attack if someone jumped at you from a bush while brandishing what could possibly be a dildo? Or would you take said blunt instrument and stick it to the masked "ass"assin (Hehe)? If you would do the latter then keep reading.
  3. Do you like seeing gooey stuff? Yeah. That's kinda gross but I guess everyone has their own kicks.
  4. Would you say that humor is needed in a horror? Sweet.
If you've got this far then I feel pretty safe to say, that you'll like Drag me to Hell.

I can guarantee that there will be some part that will literary make you jump or hide behind your eyes. Actually it's more then likely that it'll happen again and again. I know this for a fact as it did actually happened loads of times to myself and my date.
There is some poor acting (I've seen trees that are less wooden, hell even Mr Reeves is more animated) but the movie will keep throwing things at you. Actually it would probably be better to say that it keeps throwing up things at you. That's where the gooey stuff comes into it. I don't think I've ever seen so many things pulled out of the oral orifice in all the movies that I've ever seen. You named it, they pulled it. It ranged from the obvious stuff for a horror movie like Maggots to the not so obvious like cute little kitties.

Free at last!

Another plus for the movie is that it was directed by Sam Raimi, famous for films such as Spiderman and Evil Dead. With two such big francises under his belt you know that this was going to be good. That it will have the graphical power of an action movie and the thrills of a horror.

The man himself.

Below is the trailer, to tell you the truth it doesn't do the movie any favors. It's good but doesn't convey the full jump out of your seat experience that there is.

Ice Koobs
P.S. A quick little note for people who may think that girl on girl action is hot and cool. If you want to keep those prevy images of girls getting it on intact, then don't go and see this film. It takes a whole new meaning to the saying "snoging her face off".

MM. The Prodigy-Warrior's Dance

If you want to some mix running or cycling at the the gym this is one of the best songs to do it to. It's got the slow and fast parts that are great for the short bust of speed you need when doing things like a cardio work out.
I'm really liking the recent release by Prodigy. I personally felt that the last album fell a little bit flat but with "Invaders Must Die" I feel that they gone back to their roots while still managing to keep it original.

MW. This is who Sheva should of been

Mama Bimkubwa. If they only used her as a base for Sheva. It doesn't have to be her 100% (although that would of been for the best).
If Mama Bimkubwa was with me in the marshlands I wouldn't be scared of going into the water or on the platforms where the Alligators are, I know that I would be in save hands and that she would save me.
Plus did you see the way she handled that Lion? And that was without any fire power! Can you imagine her with some guns. She could easily take on a little army of Lickers.
But this advert has raised up another point that I only notice was missing from Resi Evil 5. Where the f*** are the animals? And I don't mean cats and dogs. I mean the Lions and Elephants. Sweet crap how good would it have been if they had mutated Lions instead of Dogs?
There was only bad thing about this ad. Do I really want to know how gorgeous her Red Bush is? She doesn't even look like a red head.

MM. Bonkers - Dizzee Rascal

I'm additced to song. It's got everything I ask for in a song. A kicking bass line, lyrics I can (try and) sing along to and a sweet video to boot.

I'm loving the Chain Chomp helmet. I know he probably didn't mean to look like that but it's still rocking. The way the song just changes tempo half way is a good break in the song, helps stop it get to repetitive.
I also want one of those skull hoodies. I would look so fly busting grooves in a club with that on.

GF. E3

For those of you who aren't in the know, E3 stands for Electronic Entertainment Expo. But seriously who wouldn't be in the know and reading a Gaming Friday post?
And this year's E3 is litaerly around the corner. Monday the 1st of June to precise.

Starting off with Microsoft at 10.30am local time (6.30pm for us over here in Blighty), with what I believe is a first for E3, a live stream of the Press Conference. Normally it's after the show that you find out all of the different things that are going on. Now we can find out right away. I'm rushing home to see this as Microsoft seem extremely confidante with what they are going to have to offer. At least it seems that way with how they are flooding XBox LIVE with all there little clips on the "Spotlight" section. Here's to hoping that it's not going to be that they are ripping another idea from another company. Remember the Xmii? What you don't?Ahhhh now you do. The blatant rip of Nintendo's Miis.

MW. Super Mario Bros. The film not the game.

Was I one of the only people on the planet to like this movie? I admit I was young at the time (7 I think) so most of it went over my head. But it was still a good movie right? Actually I haven't watched it since I was 7. But I do remember enjoying it a lot.
When a movie is based on a game it normally flops. Super Mario Bros is just an example of this sadly, but the reason is quite clear for this. They don't follow the games story. Think about it. The Super Mario Bros movie actually has a decent story line. The problem is that they try to merge that story with the Mario franchise. Bowser is not a evolved version of a T-Rex. Nor is toad a reptile. Could you imagine if they made a Live Action Pokemon Movie but instead of catching them to battle, they were invading and you had to catch them to send back into space? Sucks, don't it?
Another example of this is the Tomb Raider movies. Both movies stick as close as possible to the games. And both movies are very successful.

Just to take my point further, I want you to watch the following clip:

Now if you were to watch that clip without the Mario-ness. The Bomb-Bomb, the names, the gun that looks like a SNES Super Scope (well make it a different shape at least) etc. that you would of had a decent movie.

It's times like these where I wish I had the skill to make a movie. Maybe that's not it. Maybe I just lack the movation. What ever it is I know that if I was to make a Video Game movie I would show every one excatly how to do it. Keep the main charaters in, do an ocassional refferance to a sub charater, try to get as many items as possible into the mix and the most imporant thing of all, KEEP. TO. THE. ORGINAL. PLOT.

MM. The Fear

Today's musical offering is from Lily Allen and her new album "It's Not Me, It's You"

I can't forget the hook. All it takes is just me to hear one little bit of it and BAM it in my head for the rest of the day. I'm thinking about possible purchasing the album as I haven't bought that many recently and I'm not a big fan of the "Free" way of getting music. I might do it to see if I like it but I will then purchase it if I do. It's only fair. If something is crap then why should the artist get my hard earned money. I wouldn't get paid if I give a half arsed service (I'm partially paid on commission). Actually I would get sacked after a while.
I'm loving the video. It goes really well with idea that she doesn't know what real any more. The best part in the video for me, apart from Lily herself (yeah I think she hot, you got a problem with that), was the dancing balloon people. That's so cool and it feels like the idea was plucked from one of my dreams (I do have strange dreams).

I'm so tired

I've just got back from the MCM expo which is held in Excel Center London every May and October. And damn I'm tired. It's my own fault I went and joined a group who were doing the Caramel Dance. If you don't the Caramelldansen then have a look at the video below

I think I managed to do it for an hour. Not in one go by the way. I think my arms would have dropped off if I tried that. But not only did we do that we also did a conga all around the event as well. The thing is we didn't just once. We did it so much that I lost count. I'm not just tired either, I think I've lost my voice as well. Again, it's my own fault. I was shouting at the top of my lungs "Come and Join our Conga, You know you really want ta." I don't know why but I'm get really happy when I know I made someone else's day. Just seeing some of the smiles that we got while we where all congo-ing along makes up for the fact that I feel like I might kneel over at any moment.

I know the pic is blurry. But what do you expect? Every one doing the Caramel.

Other things of note for this Month's event, the amount of Cos Play. It's increasing dramatically.
Not that I'm complaining. Just means more photo opportunities for me.
How many times are you going to see the following. Not that many that's for sure.

About time someone sorted out the Rabbids problem that we've been having.
Along with cosplay you also have all the goodies that are avilable to buy as well. I've already started up a nice little collection of Plushies but when I saw this I knew I would never have enough.Someone must of spiled a glass of water or something.
I'm gping bed now. Well I going to go and get ready for bed at least. I'm moving so slowly it'll take me an hour to get to my room.

GF. Pokemon...Just try and catch them all now b**ch.

So how many Pokemon are there now?
I lost count at 251. Hell I was even special enough when I was younger to tell you every single one of the original 151. In order. Sadly I'll be hard pushed to even remember all of them now but it was a neat skill to pull off in front of a crowd.
As you can probably tell I was one of those kids that was an addict. I think it got so bad that once when walking to Tescos I could of sworn I could the music playing over the shop tannoe. I told my mum which was a bad mistake at the time because she banned me from playing the game. Now I wouldn't mind. But back then it was sadly my life.
Sad isn't it. But at least I'm no where near as bad as what I was. But it got me thinking. What got me off of that crack of which I call PKMN? And I've come up with two conclusions.
  1. I was crap.
  2. After gold and sliver the choice of PKMN became ridiculous.
Now when I say I was crap I don't mean in game. I could easily lay the smack down on the elite four. But when it came to human opponents that would be where I flopped. I remember entering a tournament with all this cockiness that I would win only to be knocked out of the first round by a dick who carried on using double team (wanker should of learned some real moves) with a Starmie. But with that my rose tinned glasses were removed. I could see that I needed to spend less time thinking that I was the best and actually enjoy the game. I didn't bother doing anything like research on moves (I didn't fracture had such a low chance of hitting) or that by using rare candies, your PKMN would never have as nearly as strong stats as they would have if they level though battling.

Also I've done a quick search on Google and found that there is now 493! I don't think my pockets are that big to be having that many Monsters in them. The thing is I can truthfully say that at least three hundred of them are just to pad out the pokedex.
Think about it. Is there any point in the following one?

Seriously, why?

The thing is that I know that even though I not as Hardcore as I was before, I would still buy the next generation when it is release. I might even consider buying the re-make of Gold or Sliver when that is released. I think the reason why that game work so well was because it kept the original Kanto region of Red/Blue/Yellow. Maybe that's the third point that makes the later games in the series not on par with the originals.
The fact that they don't keep the original regions. How cool would it have been if at the end of Diamond/Pearl a space warp or time rip opened up and you could travel to all the previous games and help Ash defeat team rocket in the shadows. That would so rock. Dam Nintendo really should hire me to become a game designer.

By the way. Just in case you're wondering. Pickachu was one of my favorite. But not the main one. The Pokemon I liked the most was....Cubone

A little change of plans

I got quite a few things going on this month so my post are sadly going to become a little bit irractic. I'll try my hardest to keep up to date but sadly I can't make any guarantees.

But I am hoping to make it up for you all. I won't say what it is yet because I still don't know if I can do it. But it will be a nice surprise if I do managed to pull it off.

MM. Calvin Harris. I'm Not Alone

Time for a Koobs exclusive. Well Ok, it's not exclusive for me alone. But it hasn't be released yet and it is the official video.

I really like Calvin Harris. If you're not sure who he is, then you might know some of his work like "The Girls", "Acceptable in the 80's"and his camo in Dizzy Rascals song "Dance Wiv Me".
Know him now?
I really like his style. Each song keep his basic dance essence but are different enough to show that he is not a one trick pony.

ZW. GF Zombie Gaming

Again today is going to be a quick post I'm knackered after doing a loads of lates at work.
So when you think of Zombies the main game flick up in your head. Resident Evil. House of the Dead. Probably even Dead Rising.
But what about the other games that have the fun undead. Can you think of anything? How about these ones:

Stubbs the Zombie.
How could you even over look this one? It has the god damn word "Zombie" in the title.

The game play is great. Instead of going up against the zombies, you are the zombie. You could make an army of the undead, throw your body part at humans and even make your hand, ala The Adams Family, craw around the place and take control of unsuspecting humans.

Dead Space.
Again a bit of a obvious one this one. Especially from the title.

Call Of Duty. World At War
The special Nazi Zombies stage is the only thing that made this crap game worth playing.

Half Life
I picked up a bad habit from Nintendo. Got to love the Re-Hashing.

And finally, Final Fantasy. Every single bloody one.How many times is there some undead boss. In every game there is a zombie boss. And the easiest way to...ummm... is kill the right word here... Forget that...to destroy him, is just cast either cure or use a potion on him.

Actually. Now I think about it. Any RPG normally has some sort of zombie in the mix as well.

P.s For those who want to know as well. Yeah. I did get it.

ZW. Lets take a closer look

Ok. So that may be a bit too close. Sorry if he dibbled on you. At least he didn't try to take a chunk out of your arm.
Now if the worst was to happen and you where caught up in a zombie outbreak, do you know what you would do? For some reason I don't think many would know what to do. So that's why I decided to make this handy little guide for every one.

The Type
Now if you want to survive you need to know what type of Zombie you are working with.
There are two types. And I've touch on them already. I'll give a gold star to who ever can name them.

Well done. You're right. You have the slow moving and fast ones. For sense of clarity the slow ones shall be known as Brain Dead, while the fast ones will be known as Speedsters. These aren't official titles but it makes it easier to distinguish between the two.
Now if you did have a break out Pray that they aren't Speedsters. If they are, you might as well shoot your self right away. They are bastards to kill and if infectious, a whole nation could be taken out in a few days. They are quick, agile and vicious. Brain Dead are easier to handle, but no less deadly. Especially if you get surrounded by a big group. Both types can be handle in the same way but obviously Speedsters will be harder to handle. The main reason why they become so fast is because they have no pain barrier and rigormotis has not set in.

Now you got work out why the Zombies are here. If you can work it out you maybe able to save humanity. Become the hero of the world and then have a nice, big and shiny statue of your self in every city. Now they are many reasons why Zombies may come about. I start with the one that is easiest to handle and resolve to the worst case sernoios. Now these Zombies can be either Brain Dead or Speedsters.

  • Voodoo Zombies
If there is any type of Zombie up rising then this would be the easiest to handle. Mainly because these type of Zombies do not crave flesh. They always have a master, normally a Voodoo Shaman or Bokor and will only follow his orders. The master is also the one that has bought them into being. You may not be able to distinguish them from normal humans but there are signs. Either whited out eyes or vacant stares and super human strength. The reason for the super human strength by the way is because there is no pain barrier nor a conscience hold back. Unless you were truly angered you would never hit someone to kill them. Maybe to stop them or slow them down but never to kill. Now where Zombies rarely have a conscience they don't have this control. Back to the Voodoo Zombie. To get rid of them you just need to break the spell or defeat the Master.

  • Parasite Zombies
This are like the people infect with La Pagea in resident Evil 4 (see they are Zombies =0) ).
Now the parasite normally infect a human that is alive and can either kill them or keep them alive. You'll find that it is normally the latter. Now once infected with a mature parasite there is no saving you. You might as well shoot anyone who is at this stage. Possibly the best example apart from the people from Resident Evil 4 is the Head Crab from Half Life.

(Look at me following in Nintendo's footsteps and Re-Hashing stuff).
Now due to the nature of the parasite, infection is slow and you find also easy to contain. There are two option available to yourself in this situation. Either take out everyone or try and find parasite zero (also known as the mother parasite) and kill that. You made me lucky and find that that get rids of all of the little buggers.

  • Virus Zombies
These zombies spread like wild fire. One bite and you can gaurente that you'll be a moaning, chomping zombie in no time. And your only hope is if there is an antidote. If you're a scientist or not friends with one then I would look to try and live the country. They crave flesh and have an an unsatable appitate. They will regain slight memory of their past lives and will congregate together at place of social bearing. Places like a shopping center or a cinema.

  • Hell's Zombies
You've seen Dawn of the Dead right? You haven't? You really should. Great movie. Both of them. Anyway. There a saying in the movie. "When there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth." If this is the situation then you are screwed. Simple as really. There is no infection that is passed on. It's just a case that if you die you become a Zombie. So if say you where to die from cancer and not have been bitten then you will still become a Zombie. Being bitten by one shouldn't cause zombification. But then again why risk it? The only way to solve this situation. Pray.

So now that you know your enemy what are you going to do about it? Have you got the know how of MacGyver to make a weapon out of anything?

MacGyver. The Only Tool You'll Need. Man I loved that show. Let's get back to the point.
Do you have the resourcefulness of a Boy Scout to not starve? Would you even know how to take out a zombie.
No? Well have no fear. Koobs is here. OK so I may not be as cool as MacGyver but I do know my stuff. I have been watching films and playing video game probably before I could even talk. Here's a list of things that may just save you life.
  • Always have a baseball bat handy. If not a bat then something long and blunt.
  • If you don't have access to something long and blunt then you'll have to use cutlery. Preferably not a spoon (what you going to try and get spoony with a zombie?) But at least a fork if you have no long knifes. Also not were I'm going with the size of the weapon. You want to keep as much distance as possible.
  • Now as soon as you hear about an outbreak you want to get as much water as possible. Also if you live in a big community consider leaving now. If possible try and leave the country and going overseas.
  • Get as much water as possible.
  • If you can get a car and there are a lot of infective then you may want to run them over.
  • Actually, anything is a weapon. If you trow it, slash with it, just cause some kind of damage in general with it then it is a good weapon. I guess spoons could be useful.
  • Try to damage the head. Remember due to no pain barrier breaking a limb isn't going to mean anything to the undead.
Those are just some of the things that should help you if you need to survive a Zombie outbreak.

ZW AW. Left 4 Speed

I'm sure you've all heard of Left 4 Dead.
Well here's Left 4 Speed.

Sorry again about the post being short. But I've only just got in from work.

ZW. Where do they come from?

The type of Zombies we know about now (look at me talking about them as if they are real) really only came into existence around the late 1960's.
I'm talking about the rotting flesh, possible popped out eye ball, have a taste for braaaainnnnnsss kinda of zombie. These where made popular by the film Night of the Living Dead by George A. Romero. If you still don't know what I mean then take a look at this photo.

Now there are many different types of these Zombies. You have the ones that I think are the most scariest, the speed ones which can be found in movies like Dawn of the Dead (2004) or 28 days later. The over type are the slightly more traditional slow moving dead. A bit like the ones in Dead Rising. Easy to get past but if there is a lot of them, then you are move then likely screwed.

The thing that I find fascinating about zombies is the fact that there is very little about them in folklore. There are little bit here and there, but at most they could be called the Living Dead. The difference? Zombies eat flesh and go out of their way to kill, where the Living Dead are just super mindless drones that are controlled by one master. I guess what I mean to be getting at is that the Zombie is a horror creature created by us. In 500 years time they will look at our stories and see that this is what we came up with. I was always scared that when are era is over that nothing will able to pass onto the our own folklore. This proves otherwise.

On Thursdays I'll be looking more closer at the zombie. No not close enough for them to get me. That would be stupid. More along the lines of how they work? What to do in a zombie outbreak? And even though you might not know it, The Pros of Zombies.
To give you an idea of one of the pros.

Awwww. It's so cute yet deadly. The pro behind this? Isn't it ovious. I can like something cute that is truly manly. See no worries of being called a poof over here in the Ice household.

ZW MM. Gorillaz, Clint Eastwood

So what the hell does Gorillaz have to do with Zombies?
Have you never seen the video? Oh that could explain why you might not know. So those of you who are uneducated in the way of the Gorillaz, I present to you, Clint Eastwood.

I love how they manage to get the Thriller dance in there. I think that it is safe to say that if you have any kind of video involving zombies they have to that dance. If only Mr Jacko got royalties for that dance. He probably wouldn't be in the debt that he is in now.

Zombie Week

In the build up to the release of Resident Evil 5 and to make up for my lack of update due to ill health (my voice is back but I'm still getting dizzy and sometimes nauseous) I thought I'll have a week worth of posts dedicated to the stars of Resident Evil.
No not Wesker, Chris or Leon. The Zombies you fool.
So here are a couple of things to look forward to this week:
  • Your Guaranteed Three with a Zombified twist.
  • A look into the background of Zombie lore.
  • And the usal zaniness that come from me.
Hope you guys are looking forward to it.

Ok so it's not an animation.
But the song was on a classic animation that had Coronas dancing around the screen. It's really dated now however so I thought you might like to see this one instead.

Sick Koobs day

I feel so hollow at the moemnt. Like I might pass out any time now. My throat is so dry that I can't even talk. It was alright in the beginning cause I sounded like some cool Blues singer. But now I have to rely on my G1 to talk for me (god bless this device).
Now even though I use my fingers to type not my voice I finding it really hard to concentrate. I think that I haven't had any problems so far. But I better stop while I'm ahead.

AW. 'Sup Chief

Who of my favorite movies of all time is who framed Roger Rabbit. I just loved the way it was real but had cartoons as well.
Well that same effect is in use in the clip tomorrow.

Watch more videos of Halo 3

I think this clip is brilliant. Like I would so have Master Chief do all of that stuff and more. The acting could be better. But that can be easily remedy. I'm already looking forward to the other episodes.

MM. Blink 182, the self titled album.

So saying I did two tracks off they're previous albums, I thought I should finish off the Blink theme with a song off they're self title album Blink 182. I know I've missed out Dude Ranch, Cheshire Cat and Buddha, but I don't actually have them on my iPod. Got the CD's but I don't want to put to many songs onto my mum's laptop.
There is still debate over the title of this album. As you can see I believe it is a self title album. But some people say that it actually has no name. The thing is that it's a bit hard to sell a cd with no name. So that's why I'm sticking with the self title thing. It also a much more mature Blink 182. No toilet humour here. Which isn't a bad thing. One thing that always happens with a band is that they get stale. The only thing is you don't want to change your self to much, or else you might as well change your name.

The song I've chosen is the frist song they released. Feeling this. It just works. If that makes sence.

The funny thing about this song is the fact that both Mark and Tom went into separate rooms to write the words for the songs. Was to write the verse and the other the chorus. Surprisingly they both chose to write about sex. The lustful side on the verse and loving feel on the chorus. The opposites work well together and in the end both conflict but harmonize. Check me out. Remembering what I learned in my Music GCSE.

Street Fighter The Later Years 9

It's the final fight. Who will win?

So there you have it. Hope you've enjoyed today. As I doubt I will do it again any time soon. And I didn't have a day off. I've just been testing out the time delay posts and what I can do on my G1. I'm a little upset however. Random J gone and posted all the clips in one post. I know he didn't mean to but *Sad Face* =0(
Oh well I do have one advantage. I got the ninth and final episode *Happy Face* =0)

So to start the day off what would Street Fighter be like if it was real???

MM Extra early. Kid Cudi vs Crookers

I've been saving this tune for when I finished the Blink run that I was doing but a fellow Blogger (who goes by the name of Junlee) has posted the original on his blog.
I prefer the remix. Easier to dance to to. Or pop. Or bubble. Or whatever the hell you do in a club. I personally to bounce and nod my head to the beat. The girls love it. Or at least I think so =0S
Any way on with the video.

Sweet crap. All of those girls were hot. And that's what make this video better the original as well =0D
Only playing, I think both videos are good but you can see the influence that Kanye West had not only on the other video but the song as well.
One other note of point. How the hell do you spell his name? Everywhere I was looking said it was spelt Cudi, not Kudi. Confusion.
